Pictorial: Security turns Kyagulanyi's proud moment into bitter end

The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi's visible joy of getting nominated as a presidential candidate came to an abrupt end after got arrested immediately after receiving the Electoral Commission nod.

After his nomination, police ordered Kyagulanyi to disembark from his vehicle into a police van in an attempt to forcefully drive him home in Magere, Gayaza. As a result, the officers smashed the windscreen of Kyagulanyi's vehicle and wrestled with his security and supporters who tried to prevent the officers from taking their candidate. Photojournalist NICHOLAS BAMULANZEKI captured the 38-year-old's nomination journey that ended in tears for the presidential candidate.
