Uganda COVID-19 cases rise to 48

Uganda's confirmed coronavirus cases have risen to 48 after 3 more cases were confirmed today according to the minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng.

The minister said 419 samples were tested today and three including two returnees from Dubai and another from USA tested positive. 

France today recorded 5,233 new cases and 1,120 new deaths while 4450 new cases and 684 new deaths were registered in the United Kingdom.

Italy registered 4,585 new cases and 766 new deaths. Spain registered 5645 new cases and 587 new deaths and the USA 21402 new cases and 733 new deaths. 

There were 3 new cases in Benin, 5 new cases in Rwanda, 3 new cases in Mali, 120 new cases and 8 new deaths in Egypt, 43 new cases and 4 new deaths in South Africa, 53 new cases and 3 new deaths in Morocco.

Others include 21 new cases in Guinea, 40 new cases and 4 new deaths in Tunisia, 14 new cases in Burkina Faso, 2 new cases in Sudan, 17 new cases in Mauritius, 12 new cases and 1 new death in Kenya.

There was also 1 new case and 1 new death in Togo of a 41 years old man, 9 new cases in Djibouti, 6 new cases in Nigeria, 12 new cases in Senegal, 6 new cases in Ethiopia, 5 new cases in the Central African Republic, 31 new cases and 4 new deaths in China.
